Operation of the stone heating

The CLASSICtherm electrical heating is based on the infrared heat radiation.

The special heating wire is set in the middle of the 3 cm thick stone panel whose heat transfer is unique due to the sturcture and components of the natural stones.

The electrical energy hots up the heating wire inside the heating panels. The natural stone around the heating wire take over the heat and transfer it to the sourrounding objects as a longwawe heat radiation.

Also the walls, ceiling, furnitures take over the heat and transmit it to the environment and the air is heated only indirectly by the warm objects. This even heat distribution significantly reduce the temperature differences in the room avoiding the hot-head/cold-feet feeling.

As the infrared radiation is mainly horizontal, the air ventilation in the room is minimal compared to the conventional heating systems.
