The ceramic is used since more thousand years for laying walls and grounds but hanks to the newest industrial technology its use expanded significantly in the last few years. During the production the raw material consisting of natural minerals (feldspar, clay) is mechanically pressed by compression, then fired under 1250 C degrees. During the production any adhesives and chemicals are added. The ceramic tiles are typically non-porous, resistant to dirt and most acid substances, making it easy to clean. Frost-resistant, stain-resistant, scratch-resistant.

Impregnation is required in some cases. It is well suited to use inside (up to the kitchen, bathroom) and outside (gardens, terraces) as well.
