NEW JURA LIMESTONE FLOORING IN THE BENEDICTINE MONASTERY CHURCH IN BAKONYBÉL

15-01-2019

The reconstruction of the more than 250 years old chatolic church was completed end of last year.
The building of the church has been completely renewed during the construction. In the baroque interior most of the former flooring has been replaced with Jura-gelb (yellow-beige) honed limestone. This limestone covering gives a classical look to the interior of the church, and fits well with the spectacular baroque furnishings (18th century altars and pulpit) and to the simple-line new wooden benches.

Pictures of the renewed church interior and the new limestone floor covering can be found in the below gallery. For more information about jura-gelb limestone, click here.
