MODERN APPEARANCE WITH JURA LIMESTONE FACADE
29-06-2020
In spring 2020, the project of M20 Residences was completed in the 1st district of Budapest offering high-quality apartments to the clients. During the project, special attention was paid to the use of high-quality materials, which is reflected in the external and internal appearance of the building.
In an unusual way on the Hungarian market of newly build apartment houses, the facade overlooking Márvány and Győző streets was built with a 3 cm thick natural stone covering. The spectacular facade made of German Jura limestone is typically consist of elements in size 40/50 x 80/140 cm. The natural appearance of the beige limestone fits harmoniously into the environment and matches well with the modern balcony elements giving the building a unique and elegant character. The limestone cladding used for the facade is a good choice from an ecological point of view, as it has a positive effect on the long-term operating costs of the building, as well as a low environmental impact compared to other building materials.
Upon entering the building, also the floor and columns of the lobby were covered with the same Jura limestone, which creates spectacular interior together with the wooden and mirror surfaces of the foyer.
Photos of the building’s natural stone cladding can be found in the gallery below.
